I want to attach a high definition VECTOR SVG to the background of a strip - this will make the strip look smart and clean without having to loose quality.
If you can, would you be able to help me with how?

Hello Robert,
You can’t attach SVG to a strip because the .svg is not supported for images.
But, how about attaching an HD image to the strip ( High Quality ) ? it will look smart and clean the way you want.
Good Luck.
Mustafa
Mustafa, you are wrong - I attached an SVG to the strip.
The reason is - I can have high quality without the file being massive and loading slow.
Ah, it seems I misunderstood your question, you cannot upload SVG file type in the media manager But, It’s possible to attach an image as a strip background ( using code ) . However, scaling it will not make you lose quality. If you meant that it is a complex and big SVG file, then it will take more time to load solely based on the file size itself, since Wix does not use compression when storing images.
Best,
Mustafa
No, the file is LESS than 1kb so actually it’s much faster as SVG are small files with high quality vector. It loads sooooo fast - instant.
Robert, I would like to use an SVG as a backgroudn to a strip, but the media manager complains that “.svg isn’t supported for images”.
How did you manage to do this, please?
