You can import your site files from any Wix site.
When you click to upload media, click to select the “Wix” logo on the right. You will see a list of sites to import from.

If editor x is built new from the ground up this seems like a ridiculous request and waste of resources to me.
Like it’d be kind of nice to update the old stuff with the better responsiveness in editor x…but it really isn’t worth the Wix team wasting resources on making migration possible.
