Can I send different responses in Forms to different contacts?

What are you trying to achieve:
I’m working on a webpage where users can select two options from a form to indicate what type of visitor they are. Based on their selection, I need the form response to be sent to a different person for follow-up. How can I implement this logic so that the recipient changes according to the user’s choice? How? “Rules” don’t seem to be able to let me do this. Thank you!

Hi Claudia,

Yes, you can set this up using Site Automations. Here’s how:

  1. Click on the Create New Automation button.
  2. Select the site that you want to create the automation for.
  3. Then under Triggers, choose CMS / Wix Forms and select the respective form.
  4. Then click on + Add Condition and set it up such that:
    if: User Selection is exactly A
  5. Then under Action 1, choose Send an Email and set up the email and particular recipient.
  6. Then click on + Add an Action button and repeat step 4 to set up the other value and recipient under Action 2.
  7. Once that is done, click on Activate and test it out.
