Can you add a blog to a members only area and only have it visible once a member?

Am wanting to add a blog that is only visible when you are a registered member.

Ideally this blog does not appear as a menu tab for all to see on the top menu ribbon.

I have added the blog and selected the permissions to members only but that shows on the menu ribbon and when clicked it then redirects anyone to login/apply splash page (wanting to avoid displaying this to all)

Any help, advice, guidance is appreciated.

Open the “Manage Menu” panel from the main menu, and ou can remove the blog from the menu:
