Can't change fonts to any dark color only light color

I’m having trouble with
My fonts will only change when I choose a light color. It will not choose a dark color: not even black. The fonts just stay white instead.

What I’m trying to do
Everything on my website works just fine, except the font colors. If I choose a light color, it works. If I choose a dark color, it stays white.

What I’ve tried so far
For 2 days I’ve been trouble shooting with AI programs and I’m just going in circles. I need a real person to tell me what they know. I’ve tried changing the styles, the settings, cleared settings, worked in boxes, containers, and text boxes. Shut off all overlays, borders, effect, etc.

  • Light colors show

  • Dark colors vanish

  • Blend mode is Normal

  • Overlay is off

  • Fill opacity is 100%

  • No Filters panel

  • I can’t change themes

  • I’ve changed colors to the typography and style settings, and it says it’s black, but it is still showing up white even in preview mode.

  • Created new sections and added new texts, and it still is the same.

  • Used preset font styles like “HELLO” and still couldn’t change color to preferred color.

I’m stumped. Can anybody help?

Have you got a link to the site you might be able to share?

My gut instinct is there may be some custom CSS applied to the site (since you mention it’s in Studio) that is altering how it appears despite changing the settings.
