Suddenly all my containers background colors are "Connected to CMS" and now I cant change them. Even new containers

I am brand new to Wix Studio. I’m building my first site and suddenly I cant change the background color it says “Connected to CMS”. I dont even have any collections created. Not sure what happened.

Question:
How do I disconnect background colors from cms.

What are you trying to achieve:
Im just trying to adjust/change background colors of items, containers, etc.

I have watched the videos in academy about cms functionality. But not seeing anything about how to reverse this.

Well as quickly and mysteriously as the problem arose it is now gone. Wish I knew what I did to cause that or how I fixed it.

I’m having this same issue. Certain elements cannot have their color changed due to ‘Connected to CMS’. Help

I just had the same issue, and it was resolved by closing the Wix Studio Editor and reopening the site in edit mode.

I had the same issue. I followed your advice, and it’s now gone, just like that :woman_shrugging: Adding it to the list of unresolved mysteries!

It just happened to me. I closed and reopened Wix Studio and it was fixed.

This also keeps happening to me. It goes away when I refresh the page.

Close and open fixed it for me.
