I’ve noticed that if I change the character spacing from zero, it doesn’t seem possible to align text to center.
Is there a fix?
Here are extreme examples:
@nycdanb can you share more info on this? You can not align text to the center of the page(container, gridcell), or use a text layouting tool like Center align? I’ve done the test on my site and everything seems to work fine. Screen recording would be the best option for us to take a closer look.
Hi Andrii. If you look closely at the above images, you’ll notice that in the first image (widened spacing), there is a lot more vacant space on the right side of the text box than on the left. Vice versa on the bottom image (compressed spacing). From what I have read, character spacing is not applied evenly around each letter, but to the right of each letter, yielding this exact effect above when center- aligning.
