Alignment and width not matching live site

I’m having trouble with
The alignment throughout my entire website. What my preview and editor show are not translating to my live site.

Working in
Wix Studio Editor

What I’m trying to do
I’m trying to make it so my website aligns as it shows in the editor, and that the width is across the entire screen rather than having two big tan bars.

What I’ve tried so far
I’ve tried throwing things in containers to align them, and that seems to be helping a little, but If you look down at my footer, the alignment is still pretty odd. For the two tan bars, I have no idea how to fix it, I’m not a web developer or super well versed in web design at all.

Did you figure this out? I’m not able to see the tan bars on either side :upside_down_face:

It does sound like it might be related to the Max Width option for sections - Studio Editor: Setting the Site's Max Width | Help Center | Wix.com - which at a certain size will stop the content from growing any wider

Hi Noah,

I figured this out shortly after posting this. My alignment issue is still happening though and I can’t seem to figure out why!

Since this is Studio, are you using layout tools, like Stacks, Repeaters, Section Grid etc?

It’s usually the most common issue with alignment, since elements on the page need to have some relation to each other. There may also be conflict with the responsive behaviours.

We have a great set of troubleshooting videos (playlist) that cover common issues like this, which are worth exploring too
