Change html lang

Hello, it seems that due to the “html lang en” tag that is included automatically, the page is detected as English and on mobile devices it triggers the Google translator.
My website is completely in Spanish but on mobile is detected as English and the translator appears, this makes people who have it set up as automatic to be translated twice and do such horrible things as translating the word “colic” by " Cancer".
Please try to solve it. If they do not solve this, I will have to change the provider.
A greeting.

Hey,
To fix it you need to change your site language under “Settings” → “General Info” from your site’s dashboard.

This option is set in Spanish. But the web still has “lang = en”.

Can you try to set it to English and then back to Spanish?

its works!!! Thank you so much Garfunkel.

Hi,
I had the same problem and thanks i’ve just changed viewing your post but two monthes ago my page www.xxxx.com/ page-d-article ( Wix shop ) changed alone to : product-page (english) and my seo is actually horrible because of the 404. I’ve tried everything with the console search (url, lightboxes…) and…nothing. I’ve lost 1 year and first position in Google. i’ve 6 wix premium websites and the most important is down for a problem of language…i’m not alone now

Hi Gregory, did you try to set a 301 redirect from the previous URL to the new one? Here’s how: Setting Up a 301 Redirect for a Page on Your Site | Help Center | Wix.com
