What I’m trying to do
I have setup multi-language support (for English) and added the language. The language switch is displayed and the status of the English translation is set to “visible”. But when trying to change the language on the website by clicking “EN” using the language switch, a reload happens and the site stays German. This is also indicated by the language switch because “DE” is still displayed as being selected.
What I’ve tried so far
Using different browsers to test the language switch; setting the status of the language back to “hidden” and then to “visible” again; publishing the site several times using the editor
This is odd! Have you got any code running on the site? I’m assuming you’ve translated the content and published the site recently?
Looks like it is an issue only with your home page. Other pages on the site make the switch (you can see the /en in the URLs) and show English content. When you try to go to the English version of your home page (add “/en” to the URL), it reverts back to the base URL.
Indeed, I’m also confused. We have integrated PrismJS for Code Highlighting in our blog articles. I would need to talk to the person in our company that has integrated it first before I can give you more details. Do you think this could be a potential reason?

When navigating to the Blog there seems to be the same issue that the switch is not working.
I think this might be one that requires opening a ticket with Customer Care - I’m not seeing anything immediately obvious that would be causing this, unfortunately.
Issue fixed. Apparently there where some redirects setup in the course of the migration from our old website. I now have deleted those and it’s working now. Anyway, thanks for helping out.
