Hello, I would like to know how to/or the code to change the mobile theme color back to default.
I upgraded to editorx from standard wix and i think it was changed to yellow from before the upgrade. Now I would like the change the color back to default (black)
Thanks Aaron. Yes still have it in Safari - tried on iphone 13 & 14 (camera notch & battery status on top of screen and the address bar is at the bottom of the screen). No problem in Chrome.
My understanding is that there are some inconsistencies with this across Android and iPhone. However as long as you have a premium Editor X site, you should be able to write the necessary custom code to use this feature. (After converting from Wix to Editor X there is always some optimization that needs to be done.)
If you are still having a problem, the best thing to do is to contact Support directly here (https://support.wix.com/en/article/editor-x-contacting-customer-care-for-support).
I see it on my end when I disable dark mode. If you want black as the default, you can change the meta tag since it was probably added before using the Wix Editor.
Thank you! Found where i changed it on the original WIX editor [Browser/Chrome Theme Color). Just trying to revert the color change on EditorX. Only seems to be showing up on Safari only.
Enter the meta tags in the header of my site as suggest and did more testing, seems to be only an issue on Safari .
The Safari default is ‘Tab Bar mode’ but when the settings are changed, it disappears.
It is not present when switched from ‘Tab Bar mode’ to ‘Single Tab Bar Mode’ and also when ‘Allow Website Tinting’ is disabled on my iphone’s Safari setting.
Still not fixed, but seems to be an automatic website tinting done by Safari.
