Client's Wix Business Phone

Our client needs a Wix business number and wants to manage bookings for his site. We are the owner of the site that we designed. He is the co-owner. Can we set up the phone number (we can handle the billing) and have his company use it under the account and connect to the Wix app?

We do not want to answer or connect to the phone number. How does this work?

Thanks Steven! Turns out we have few clients are now requesting the same thing: a Wix biz phone number connected to their site. But again we own as partner/agency. This is another reason we are advocating for a Partner-Client role in permissions to streamline and make life easier. Hopefully there is a current workaround!

Hi Ed, this would require the transfer of the business phone number to your clients account, which is a current feature request .

Maybe getting the business phone number and making the client a call agent would work?

Thank you Steven for researching this. We are looking into the call agent as a workaround.

But there are a number of challenges that keep popping up with the current set of permissions and roles. We really need a Partner/Agency Role that allows us to properly represent and take care of clients. There is opportunity there for additional revenue and long term relationships. We will keep on requesting this as the evidence mounts and sheds light on the need.

It can only make Wix stronger and unique in the sector.
