Collapsable text element bug

Question:
Does Wix Studio allow adding a link to the “Read More” text in a collapsible text element?

Product:
Wix Studio

Goal:
I want to add a related URL to a collapsible text element within a repeater in Wix Studio but cannot find a field to do so.

What I’ve Tried:

  • Checked the Relations view, but it only allows text connections.
  • Reviewed the Layout modal, but there is no option to add a link.

the read more link is to expand the collapsed text. If you want it to link to another url then use another text element or button.

I can achieve this using Velo, as mentioned in the documentation. However, I believe this could also be a built-in Studio feature, allowing users to accomplish it without custom scripts.

I’m not really understanding the reason behind changing the read more from expanding the text. This is what the specific collapsible text is designed for. If your redirecting to a url then how is the text expanded… and if you dont need the text expanded, why use the collapsible text element ? I would just be using standard text boxes to do the link, no code required.
