In editor, i have added a Column Strip for images. wix gives the option to select a column and then change the background image/color if we want to. I want to add a background image. This image should be displayed as the background image when the page is loaded for customers. They should see this column background image before the even try to upload an image to our database.
I use this setting to change the background image and it works fine in editor and shows my background image in the column, but it only displays the background image in editor mode. It should show my selected background image loaded into the column when a page loads for our customers to see. this background image should be seen by the customer upon page load before they try to input any info or upload any of their own images.
Once the page loads, customers should see my background images that state “customer has not loaded images yet” and will be replaced once they upload their own images in the column. However, When i try to view this in Preview or Live Site, it only displays a solid color inside the column without the background image. It does not display my background image.
I have realized that the solid color that is displayed in the column background is actually the color used in the column background settings, so i tried to make it 0% opacity because i thought that maybe it is overlayed on top of my background image, but it’s not. The background image just doesnt show up at all in preview or Live mode. I just want my background image to show up in Live mode but it doesnt.
