Connect Dynamic Item Page Item to Dynamic Category Page

So, I have a requirement that I am not sure how to fulfil with dynamic pages.

I have a list of categories for vendors, for example Cleaners and Tutors. I want this to be dynamic so that I can just add to it.

For each category, when you click on a category, it takes you to another dynamic page with a list of vendors under that category.

Then when you click on a specific vendor , it takes you to a specific dynamic page for that vendor.

From my understanding, it is a dynamic category page for the first two and a dynamic item for the last. What I don’t understand however is how to link from one item to the next? How do I link from one dynamic category entry to another dynamic category item and then to the dynamic page.

Whatever I do it seems to just link to one item on the page.

Hello, thanks for your response. I think what I was missing is the dynamic item page piece.

The bit I am stuck at is step 5 here https://support.wix.com/en/article/creating-an-index-page-for-your-dynamic-pages , I can connect the dataset but there isn’t an option to select the dynamic page I want to link to

you can connect 2 dynamic pages by connecting the button via database to the other page.
