Why can’t i see some data in some contact columns?

What are you trying to achieve:
I want to have a unique ID for the contacts in my contacts list to correspond to their physical file and makes reservations easy.
I have made two new columns for contacts but when i input the data individually into those columns it is not displayed. the column is just empty. yet further inspection of the individual contact shows the field is populated just not showing in the table.
Not sure about the field errors you’re experiencing, how they’re set up and what’s going on
But contacts already generate a unique ID field….
This is a screenshot of what a seeing(Dont worry the emails and names are randomised). on the contacts table their is a field for unque id i made but it is empty. when you view one of the contacts it shows it has a value in that field,so i wonder why it doesnt show up.
Also if every contact is given an id is there a way i can find it or view it against the contact name or even use it in a search?

The field you’re looking for is _id, you can see it if you click “manage fields” while viewing the collection
They are not looking at a collection, they are viewing a page on their Wix dashboard.
That page/ section is created by Wix. If something does not appear but should be, then you would need to contact Wix support:
I have never seen “unique id” as part of the Contacts section so I am going to take a wild guess and assume someone created a custom field within the Wix dashboard settings. Just because it was created as a field ——- does not mean a value will be automatically created when a Contact gets added. You actually have to add a value yourself when you add the Contact. If it is not a custom field, then contact Wix support to see what is going on in your site Dashboard.
