count values in a table - need help please

Hello,
I am showing a table on a wix page (2 columns), were I display info from a database collection.
I would like to show a text field (or something else) on my page where I show for example:
karper: 2

So it counts the number of times ‘karper’ is showing in the table.

Which function or script should I use for this?

How about using the wix-data query() , eq() , and count() functions?
