Creating a shop with user input filters using datasets and repeaters

Hey guys, I’ve done my research and I really just can’t find an answer and I’d really appreciate some help.
I really don’t like the limited customization that the default Wix shop has. So, I started looking into making a shop using datasets and repeaters.

I created the dataset, the repeater and the user-input filters and they’re all working just fine, except that they don’t connect to an item page for each product. Now, I’m creating a shop that will probably (hopefully) have hundreds of items up at once, so I can’t exactly create an individual page for each product. Using dynamic pages wouldn’t work since they lack the user-input filter option (which makes no sense to me).

Am I just out of luck or is there a way around this? This is really frustrating.

Google brought me to this page https://www.wix.com/corvid-examples/custom-store-filters which looks like it should be the answer to my question but I can’t seem to find the source or instructions or anything like that.

I figured it out. I just wasted two days to do so, so here’s how you do it in case anyone is looking for this in the future:
1- Create the dynamic page and it’s dynamic dataset.
2- Create a new, normal page.
3- Create a repeater on the new page and connect it to the dataset you created earlier.
4- Make the normal page with the new repeater your storefront
