Custom buttons & coding in a Wix Event Details Page

I’m looking to use the standard Wix Event Details page, but with a couple of minor functional tweaks.

For example, if the user is not logged in, I want to hide the RSVP button and instead provide a custom Login button to the user. I was able to add my own login buttons over the top of the RSVP buttons (i.e. such that they’re obscured), and programmatically hide the login buttons if the user is logged in. However the positioning of these buttons is static, and depending on the content of the event (and therefore the positioning of the RSVP buttons), the buttons might not obscure the page’s RSVP buttons. So I’m starting to think this approach may not work.

Has anyone tried doing anything similar, or have any suggestions? Otherwise, I assume the only other approach would be to build my own dynamic Event Details page that replicates the look / layout of the standard Wix Events one? Thanks!
