I have noticed that the dataset connection panel is missing in wix mobile editor. It shows up when an element is added (e.g., a button), but when I click outside of the page content it hides and can’t bring it up back again. Anyone has a solution for that?
If you have any screenshots of what you’re seeing, this would be a huge help.
In the meantime, if I’m understanding correctly - this is expected behaviour. You’ll have the option to connect elements to a dataset on desktop, but not on mobile, as it’s expected that you’ll need/want the same connections across form factors

I agree that elements, connected to CMS, should be consistent across the desktop and mobile version, but in mobile version you can connect buttons to CMS, which will not be visible in the desktop version, but only on the mobile. So, once you have connected a button, in the mobile editor. to a CMS and then you want to disconnect it, there is no option to bring back the CMS connection panel. Your only choice is to add a temporary element, and the disconnect the element in question. That’s kind of cumbersome, having to insert a temp element (e.g. button) to bring up the dataset panel, so you can disconnect an element. Imagine, I change my mind and I want the button that I had previously inserted and connected to a dataset, to be connected to a different dataset. Once again, you need to insert a temp button to fix your connections and then delete it.
Ahhh this is interesting - I see it’s only happening on Dynamic pages too, and not happening on static pages with a dataset.
I’ve asked the team as it definitely feels a little strange. Will loop round when I have a little more info
