DatePicker issues when connected to a Dataset

Hi All,

I have created a form where one of my input fields is done via a datepicker with some placeholder text (see image 1 below). This is fine and displays fine. However, when I connect it to a Dataset the field changes to its “error” state (which is a slightly red background. I am using the DATE & TIME type to connect this via the database and the data is collected correctly it is just this graphic that is the issue. Any idea why this could be?
