I’m currently facing an issue with the default behavior of the language field in Wix. Whenever someone registers on my site, their language field is automatically set to “en” (English), even though my website primarily caters to Turkish-speaking users.
What I’d really like is for all new members to have their language field set to “tr” (Turkish) by default. This would make much more sense for my audience and ensure a smoother experience for them.
Here are a few things I’m wondering:
- Is there a way to change the default value of the language field in the member database to “tr”?
- Can this field be dynamically set based on the site’s primary language or the user’s browser language?
- Has anyone else dealt with this issue? If so, how did you manage to solve it?
I believe this is an important feature for websites that operate in non-English languages, and I hope Wix can provide a solution or guidance on this.
