Display a preloader when moving from one page to another

This feature is super essential as it currently takes quite long to load a new page. If my visitors see no changes for a while after they click a button, they will leave the website. Preloader let them know that the site is loading.

Yes please!! Right now once we click on a link that leads to another page, there is no visual indicator of any sort that the next page is loading. The website just remains completely frozen making us wonder whether we’ve clicked the button or whether it’s just not responding to the action.

Please do provide a solution for this as this can act as a turn-down for many site visitors.

Yeah! This would be cool. Until performance gets better.

Hi,

I fully agree. I even get myself confused when clicking on the menu I not getting any visual clue that loading is taking place. Typical response is clicking again, which results in even longer waiting time.

This would be a super useful feature. It would also be nice to have the option for a preloading animation if someone arrives on that page from an external source.

I have a page which consists of multiple repeaters, and it can be kind of slow to load, so anything to show the user the the site is working would be a huge help.

Is this possible @sebi-vidret ?

For the moment, a change of page causes a very disturbing flash during the transition: https://delvalbenoit.editorx.io/mysite-2

This with all browsers (Mac).
Editor X cannot be used with this problem.

Thanks for a quick solution.
Ben

even if there is no preloader make the loading symbol in the browser tab work even if there is a dummy script doing it.
