My domain is hosted by Namesco and my site is published via Wix Studio.
Via iContact (an email marketing platform) I need to register for DKIM.
I have updated the DNS records at Namesco but registration with DKIM has not been forthcoming. Having checked with Namesco Customer Service they say I have to update the Nameservers at Wix. Wix doesn’t allow non-alphabetic characters in the Host Name field which IContact requires to be “@” (no quote marks). I’ve tried it in “A Host Name” and “TXT Text” fields.
I can’t find a link to request a Wix support ticket.
Anyone any idea where I go from here?
Tony
Hi, @Tony_Young !!
I was rereading some notes I wrote in Notion back when I was working on email-related stuff, and I found a comment that said, “It took about 24 hours for the DKIM record to be recognized, but from now on, even if authentication takes a while, let’s be patient!” I honestly don’t remember what exactly I did back then, so I can’t really offer any advice now, but at least my past self left this message for my future self: “Be patient!” This might be one of those cases where it can take up to 48 hours.

Thanks! I had waited for several days. However, I asked Gemini how to post a Wix Support Ticket and it sent me a link. I was a bit surprised (probably shouldn’t be) to find my above question was answered by a Wix AI and which gave me the exact info I was looking for and - blow me - the DKIM authenticated almost instantly! This, I guess, is the future.
I think this is the first time I’ve seen Wix’s AI being praised on this forum.
It’s usually just getting slammed all the time.
Today must be its real birthday!
So that means it wasn’t really a matter of time, then. Just in case, could you leave the URL of the resource that helped you solve the issue in this thread? That way, anyone who runs into the same problem in the future can refer to it.
Well, whatever—congrats on getting DKIM set up!
