I need to allow my customers to download an .xlsm file each month or annually. I understand that those file formats are not supported through the “add document” buttons and the wix website there is a HTML workaround, but I don’t understand how to do it as I am a code amateur! Can anyone direct me to how I would do this? Thank you in advance!

Did you ever get a response? I have exactly the same problem.
I ended up creating a membership site and once logged in and on the page, I set up the dropbox app on wix so I can upload .xlsm or .zips and they can easily download them.
Ah gotcha. Thanks! In the end, I used AnyFile from the App Store. It is clunky and inelegant, but satisfactory for my purposes. I only have one xlsm file, and it is update regularly. Thanks for getting back to me. At least others will have two options from our posts.
Hey, all…just wanted to submit my findings here since I just figured out how to make this happen without using any kind of plugin or third-party app.
NOTE: The below method was tested using a .zip file. I’m not sure if this works for .xlsm files too.
In your site editor, add a button. Then, select to link the button to a document. When you do, Wix will open up your Media Center, prompting you to select the document to which you’d like the button to link. At this point, you can upload your .zip file to your Media Center (as you would any other image or video), then select the Zip Folder, and voila! Your button now triggers a download of the .zip file you selected. Hope this helps!
