Dropdown works on preview but not on live

Question:
I have a dropdown that uses CMS, it displays correctly in Preview but on the Live site it just shows the default settings of Vanilla etc. I have synchronised my CMS from sandbox to live. I have published the site.

What are you trying to achieve:
Trying to get my CMS to display so that an option can be selected.

What have you already tried:
Forum topic on a similar problem does not have an answer.

Additional information:
Once selected the selection will be saved to another dataset as part of the function of the form using a button to submit.

It’s also worth double-checking the Collection settings - CMS: Changing Your Collection Permissions | Help Center | Wix.com

Potentially, what’s happening, is in Preview, you’re viewing with Admin permissions (as you’re a site Collaborator) which is suppressing the settings of the Collection and returning data to the site (hence the dropdown is populated).

Then in the live site, you’re not logged in/viewing as an admin, so the collection doesn’t return data because it’s set as a “Form submission” or something similar :slight_smile:

Tried the permissions, made no difference whatsoever.

Or maybe you are in the Sandbox mode and haven’t synced to Live yet!
