Thank You for taking time to reply to me Ido. I appreciate it.
I am looking for a way to join two filters together. At the moment in my fashion store website I have only showed the BRAND.
This is what I have done:-
- Created collections
- Created a Dynamic page - Field BRAND
- Added a repeater
- Added buttons to the Dynamic page, then linked individual button to each brand
What I really like to do is to add another filter called Category, so customers can see products relevant to a particular brand.
I have no idea about coding. Can you please let me know if there is an easy way to do this.
Thank you kindly.
If I understood you right, you can add more filters next way:
- Create new collections by Category (Top, Dress, etc.) and include specific products in it.
- Right click to your store grid gallery on the page => choose Settings
- In the left menu choose filters, there you can add or hide any.
- In the bottom you can see +Create Custom Filter => add there your Collections by Category.
Hi Axexander,
Thank you for your reply. Yes I know the method you have explained.
This is my website -https://www.stylesweetsmile.com/shoes
You will notice that I have added only the type of item on the left.
What I really like to do is to add the names of retailers below as well.
So for example, instead of clicking only on Boots a customer would be able to click BOOTS and the RETAILER’S name so they can view boots for that specific retailer.
Do you think this is possible?
Thanks you.
Sure, it’s possible. Look at my website - https://www.east-cosmetics.com/uhod-za-volosami
You can select filters in different sections.
So you need:
- Create one joint collection with ALL products in it
- You already have collections of each type of item
- Create separate collections per each RETAILER (and any other criteria you need, for examples SEASON etc.), you just need to select the products you already have for each collection
- Choose for your Product Gallery joint collection (from 1)
- In options of your Product Gallery go to Filters => create “Custom Filter”, name it “RETAILERS”, you will be offered to choose another collections which included in joint collection => choose all created collections with each RETAILER. That’s it.
You can add here SEASON as well at the same time. One limit I found there - you can use up to 31 collections per one Product Gallery.
