extremely useful tip

Loved it. More videos like this, please!

Keep these coming please! Very useful.

very useful video! How can you combine a container with a text inside, with equal scaling so the margins stay proportional?

Thanks, where can i find more of these kinda tuts…

Where is this video posted… besides here in the forum? Can’t find it on the EditorX site or on Youtube.

This video was particularly posted on here only. We will have more videos in the future.

It would be nice to be able to have text scale proportionally with the container. Instead of having to guess the text scaling so that it would stay in position.
Being able to everything within the viewport proportionately is very useful. A website for example https://teenage.engineering/

I was able to do something similar by scaling the text . For the container, I set the width to VW so that it changes depending on viewport width.

@Rob Could not achieve what you did. Did you have to turn on text scaling?

I did. Not sure if the exact range would work for you but I used 10-60 as the range. Depending on how large or small you want the text, might need to mess around with the range.

@Rob
I also have an issue with the shopping cart icon not staying in the dimensions I have set.
I have my shopping cart icon placed in my header. Every time I drag the viewport narrower and then back to desktop width, the cart icon would change dimensions. It would sometimes get larger or smaller, at random. It would disappear then when it loads back up it would not resize to the right dimensions.
The cart icon size is set by % so that it would resize as the viewport gets narrower.
Is there a way for me to get it to always stay in the right size?
You can try by placing the cart icon in a header, set its dimension by % and dragging the viewport narrow (or tablet or mobile) and then go back to desktop.
