Editor X - How to freeze Header?

Hi guys,

Iam creating my own portfolio with the new Editor X version, which i found awesome ! But unlike the classic Wix editor you can’t set the header as freeze.

Iam using the same Header (as a master) on all pages and I just want it to be fixed and not affected by the scroll!
Hope you see what i mean and have some tips for me ?

I’ve been looking around in Velo and so… by I can’t find any example…

Hi,
There is a work around. Go to layers panel> Main header>Detach from Master.
This converts header to normal section. Select the section>position>fixed. This way, the header can be freezed for now. Hope the team is working on this issue.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. Our team is currently working on bring Fixed Master Sections to production. We expect for it to be available very soon.

Currently, the best solution is to detach the section from the Masters, as @thegoodpeopleinnovat mentioned.

When we have an update we will create a post on the forum, stay tuned!

Thanks. I was looking for a temporary workaround for this, as I knew the WIX team has it in the works, but not having it can be a pain.:sunglasses:

I cannot find my tabs on the wix editor however they are on the wix site. how do I connect onto the editor again. I am not certain how to carry on with this site now? www.info@ultimatecrowns.shop

New Update -

  1. Simply select your header
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the element panel
  3. Select “scroll”
  4. Make header sticky and you’re done.

note: you need to apply sticky to every page, sticky does not apply globally.
