I’m selling a physical product that includes a tutorial on how to use it. I’ve searched and googled, but can’t find a way to ensure an email is sent to the customer with a download link to the file.

with Wix Automations it is possible to send email after the purchase on specific product was done, along with this, you can attach PDF file there (with PDF download link for example:

Do you know which automation this would be? I explored this yesterday but found nothing labeled, “Send email after purchase.” Typing “email” or “PDF” renders no result in the search option.
I just created this one below but 1) it doesn’t tell me if it’ll populate after they make a purchase, only that it’s sent after an invoice is paid. But “WHAT” invoice? 2) there’s no option to assign it to a specific product nor attach a file. 3) they should not have to fill out ANY additional forms as they would make for a bad UX.

This is with the default store details but you can set up the automation to trigger when purchasing a specific product.

You can do it with Velo as well to deliver digital content after purchase (Velo Reference: onOrderPaid()).
