Question:
When ever I send a mailer out to the community, I also get one, but when ever I open it up, gmail asks me if I want to display the images.
Why?
Even when I press “Always display”, it still shows up.

Product:
Wix Campaigns
What are you trying to achieve:
I want the images in the newsletter to always show up on opening of the email, and not require anyone to press “Display images”
Seems like it might be a setting with your Gmail?
Found this one that might be relevant:

Hi,
But, no other newsletter or email type every asks me this, only from our newsletter from wix.
Also, that setting is already on as per your screenshot:
Great! I checked in with the team and they said it could be related to sender reputation issues as Gmail will hide images from suspicious senders.
Here’s an article about improving Sender Reputation
- Email Marketing: Improving Your Email Sender Reputation | Help Center | Wix.com
Interesting, how do I check?
Because we are very conscientious when it comes to reputation. We only send to active users and our open rate is around 87% with no spam reports.
Have you got any other things to check?
Also, I checked now with my team, it’s not happening to others, just me. But it’s been like this for me for years, literally since day 1 of using wix.
If it’s happening to only you, it seems like it could be a local issue. There’s a couple of other things worth checking:
- Is battery saver on? (sometimes can have an affect, but would be strange for only one type of email)
- Check Chrome extensions
- Clear cache and cookies
Worth also checking - is the email sender from the account the email is being checked on?
Wow, after literally years, I just saw now that our sender details weren’t linked to an authorized domain, so, I fixed that, and that photo issue went away!
I just sent out our first campaign and it didn’t ask me to display images for the first time.
