Feature Request: Custom Dashboards, Calculated Fields & Easier Report Exports

Hi Wix Team and Community,

I’d like to suggest a feature that I believe would be highly valuable to many of us who use Wix to run service-based businesses.

Current Challenge:
At the moment, accessing insights and making data-driven decisions through Wix reports is quite time-consuming. Exporting reports one by one is inefficient, especially for businesses that rely on frequent analysis of bookings, customer behavior, sales, and marketing performance.

Feature Suggestion:

  1. Custom Dashboards – The ability to build our own dashboards by selecting specific KPIs, views, and widgets based on what matters to our business.
  2. Custom Columns & Formulas – Let us add our own calculated fields or columns inside reports (e.g., total spend per customer, booking frequency, retention rate, etc.).
  3. Batch Export or Scheduled Reports – Enable scheduled exports or the ability to download multiple reports at once in formats like CSV or Excel.

Why This Matters (for Users):

  • Saves hours of manual work every month.
  • Empowers data-driven decision-making.
  • Enables us to track what really matters to our business model.
  • Makes it easier to report to partners, accountants, or investors.

Why This Makes Sense (for Wix):

  • Provides added value for power users and growing businesses.
  • Could be offered as a premium feature or part of a data & analytics add-on.
  • Encourages users to stay within the Wix ecosystem rather than exporting data elsewhere.
  • Strengthens Wix’s position as an all-in-one platform for professional businesses.

I truly believe this would be a win-win for both Wix and its users.

Hi @idanha and @thomasj and everyone from the Wix team.

I am truly in need of working with our data, and having to export every single report manually is just too cumbersome, do you have any plans on extending the analytics API so that we can retrieve the data from all reports.

It would save us so much time and headache, is this on your roadmap?.

Hey @user5880! It sounds like this is an ideal use case for a custom setup that pulls information according to your needs.

If you’re comfortable working with APIs (which by the sounds of it you may), then it might be possible to use a combination of:

Alternatively, you might get on well with the Wix and Base44 connector (here’s a guide - [Dev Guide] How to Integrate a Wix Site with Base44 Apps ).

You’ll be able to prompt Base44 to create a dashboard that pulls data from your Wix site, and has the additional controls and customisation that you need.

I know this isn’t exactly what you’re looking for - but I hope gives you some inspiration and a general direction of where you might be able to take this :slight_smile:
