Enable Export & Filter & Check off of Back in Stock Requests
What current pain point are you facing?
I can’t see which item is most requested and restock accordingly. The manual scroll through and tracking is painful as there’s no filter option nor is there option to check off requests that has been fulfilled (customers who requested but purchased after restock). It would be great if I can do date/product/status filter etc and hide items (those that have purchased after being notified), etc. Exporting would also be helpful, especially if filtering is not possible. In generally, it’s a good idea to be able to export data.
Bonus: it would also be cool to know which customers who have been notified about restock clicked on the restock notification link, so we can retarget.
Do you have a current workaround that you’re using?
the horrible workaround is manually scrolling and tallying
Describe the feature you need and how it would work. (Bonus points for mockups )
I imagine you have an option to export the whole Back in Stock list with headers, so we can filter after. I also imagine we can filter on the site itself without exporting for quick checks. I imagine the filters would include product/variety, date, status, etc. It would be awesome if we can hide/check off selected entries. Even better if it can indicate which request has already clicked the notification link when restock happened, or that they have purchased the item after being notified (if not, it would be good to at least allow us to hide/check off those requests, so we can do a targeted eDM for those who requested but haven’t purchased once they have already been notified of restock).
How will this impact you?
It will help site owners understand which items is most requested, so they can prioritize and restock accordingly (the point of the restock request). It also allows site owners to do retarget emails to those who showed interest but haven’t purchased once items become available again, without also sending to those who have in fact purchased already (it can seem unprofessional and that we don’t realize customers have already purchased). It also reduces hours of manual scrolling and tallying which is a big waste of time. A simple export feature will eliminate a lot of this pain.
