Each product option that we add currently creates a new variant and multiplies the number of variants and complicates the process. Wix needs to add product options that are just there for the consumer to select an option, ie: color, size, etc. things that don’t effect the price.
Solution: Add a checkbox when adding the product option that is used to determine if this product option should create a variant in the pricing matrix or not? Simply uncouple product options from product options that effect price.
I have a number of clients that would switch to Wix Stores if we had this option. The current e-commerce solution they have has this feature and they are unwilling to change to Wix until this option is available.
