As a long time Wix user (since the beginning), I am really very happy and proud with Wix infrastructure and the vast options and app integration it provides to us.
podcasts are rapidly trending every day.
I am unfortunately disappointed that the Wix team still cannot integrate a solution for podcasters.
Even, if I want to host the files and control/configure them by myself, and create my own rss and xml files I can’t because of the xml file upload restriction.
Isn’t it frustrating being not allowed to upload a file type that you need for a podcast hosting but cannot upload because of file restriction on a HOSTING platform I already pay for monthly/yearly?
Wix’s biggest competitors now offer the option to host & easily configure the podcasts with an easy to use interface.
As a fan and a long time customer of Wix, I strongly encourage Wix to make the podcast hosting possible soon either with an easy interface&app for those who don’t know about rss handling and/or allow people to upload xml file at least to be able to configure without a proper app/manually.
#featurerequest I hope this will be integrated fast because podcasters are rising up dramatically and other webhosting sites already put a simple solution for their customer who publish podcasts within their sites.
