I’m using a full width slideshow on my homepage. It resizes horizontally dependant on the user’s screen resolution which is great but it does not resize vertically.
Is there a way using Wix Code to extend the vertical height in proportion to the horizontal.

No, at this point you can’t change size of component using Wix Code product…

Changing size and position is something that’s impossible for components. AFAIK, it’s technical restriction which is very hard to change, so for sure not during next months…

The image should not get cropped when it is viewed on different screen resolution, any help

This is really unfortunate. I feel like this feature is fairly important in the current state of web design. Is there anywhere to see what Wix is working on currently? Would be nice to know they aren’t twiddling their thumbs. If not this feature than what are they working on???

Nothing yet actually. We’re still waiting for wix to improve their builder in order to build full-width layouts and also full-screen elements like we used to do with WordPress and other builders.

I’m sure that wix is now working in something regarding this as I already saw them mentioning in one comment that something big will come in 2020 but we’re in May now! Hope this will happen very soon
