Get Quote instead of Checkout

Hi,
I am using the WIX store app and would like my customers to be able to add products to their carts but rather than checking out, be able to email their cart for a quote. is this possible?

okā€¦ im so disappointed for all this ****. First look wix seems to be ā€œfrom the futureā€ easy access editing onlinestore and website builder. But in the end. u cant edit all those most important features for make a business. U cant get quote cart at all. even a single button. Registered user has to type second time all contact infos etc. even customer is allredy registered. U cant even edit order pageā€¦ only add things wtf?. Its so ancient that there should be annousment before starting to create site ā€œNot suitable for B2B, use another website toolā€ There has been 2 years now complains about that feature and wix only asks ā€œvote for this featureā€. i have used so many hours and then when u should publish, buy premium and then only u see what kind of order pages etc. are. this is all most a fraud.

I am not able to create new post - so posting my question here :

We have a requirement to limit the number of items that can be purchased in a specific category (e.g. customers can only purchase 2 items from the deals category). We can calculate this using the ā€œwix-store cart onChangeā€ event and display a lightbox requesting the customer to edit/correct the cart. However, we also want to disable the checkout button until the cart is updated. We have not found a way to do this in Wix VELO. Another option would be to display a message when the checkout button is pressed, if there is an error in the cart. However, we have not been able to find documentation on how to capture the click event of the checkout button or how to disable it in VELO. Can you provide assistance on how to achieve this?

It can be difficult to setup Request a quote with code. With Request Quote for Stores, you can do the same by simply adding the widget to product page. It comes with a pre-built form where you can collect lead info and view them in Wix dashboard.
