Gift cards redeemable with Wix Events?

Hi friends, is it possible to integrate the Gift Card function with bookings through Wix Events?

I’m trying to set up ticket vouchers, redeemable for tickets to music events.

Ideally, guests would purchase a voucher, receive a redemption code, and apply this code at the checkout for the date they wish to attend.

I’ve tried following youtube tutorials & forum topics to no avail. The method shown in the “Setting Up Wix Gift Cards” isn’t followable, as my Wix Studio options panel (on the left side of the screen) doesn’t contain the same “Gift Card” subcategory; the gift cards I can see are only listed under “Catalog”, which appears to have different functionality…

I then get stuck in a loop of creating the gift card, which disappears and resets to the default every time I save or refresh.

Any help/guidance is appreciated. Am I trying to integrate incompatible systems? Thank you!

Unfortunately, as of now, there isn’t a direct integration between Wix Events and Wix Gift Cards to achieve the specific functionality you’re looking for.
The Wix Gift Card system is primarily designed for e-commerce products, not for service-based bookings like events.

Hi, thank you for your response - has this feature now been integrated, or is it still incompatible? Checking because a pop-up happened today, heading “Create gift cards for events”…but I’m encountering the same difficulties as before in setting it up…please advise?
