header options

hello! i was advised by Wix editor support to suggest this on this forum upon determining what i was looking to do is not yet possible.

the fade and disappear effects on the header do not begin to occur until one has scrolled several hundred pixels. so, there is a point at which the header is still visible, but the user has partially scrolled down the page. i would like to see an option where we can adjust “when” the header effect begins. i would like to be able to make it so that the header begins to disappear immediately upon scrolling, rather than there being a delay. the delay makes things look messy, and it gives me the impression that it is not working properly, even though it is.

secondly, the scrolled page remains visible behind the header if one has not set a header background that is opaque. i have a translucent header background (30% opacity). therefore if i choose “freeze,” my site’s content is visible behind the header when scrolling. this makes everything look messy and as if it’s not functioning properly. i would like to see a way to make the site’s content disappear or become invisible when scrolling behind the header, so that the background color can still be translucent so you can see the background image, but so that the site content does not show behind it. it looks unprofessional to have the text and graphics on my website visible behind my header. this may not be possible, but it was worth a shot suggesting it.

thank you!!
