Help with Pages and Subpages Menus

Hi

I am designing a website based on the Wix template Agatha.

On the left-hand side is a menu of pages.

By hovering over any of those lines, you can access a subpage menu. The issue is, the subpage menu appears to the right of the main menu, and overlaps the photo in a super ugly way.

(There’s an option to have the subpage menu on the left, but that’d be offscreen with this particular design).

What I’d like to do is have the subpage menu appear below the main page it relates to - so the menu of pages would expand vertically in order to make room for it.

I know this is theoretically possible because it’s exactly what happens on the mobile version of the site.

It’s the same look as the layout of the “Menus & Pages” option in the editor:

Is there a way to use the mobile design on the desktop, or in some other way to achieve the look of the mobile design and the “Menus & Pages” editor?

Thanks!

Hi :raised_hand_with_fingers_splayed:

This forum is dedicated to Corvid related issues, this isn’t really an issue, you can extend the white bar a little bit further to cover the rest of the sub-menu, OR you can create your own custom menu with buttons.

You can contact Wix Customer Care to request this feature to be added.

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place - I saw a lot of other subpage question on here and thought this was a place you could look for programming help?

I don’t want the white box extended, that wouldn’t help the issue, and I don’t want to request the feature - I want to see if there’s a way the code can be adapted to create the layout I’m looking for…

Yes you can create a custom menu using a repeater and some buttons

Ok thanks - I’ll do some searching on those terms and see what I can find. If I can’t figure it out, I understand there’s a way to hire a programmer from here?

You’re welcome  Yes, you can check out Wix Marketplace , it’s a place where you can find developers to hire, or you can contact me directly using the links on my profile. Follow me so you can get to me easily when you need to.

Will do, thanks!
