However, i set up the code and sendGrid but i am not receiving any emails when test it. Hoping someone is able to shed any light onto why this may be happening?

Firstly, please do not post any full API keys etc, always switch it to just API KEY or something else.
From your code your recipient is a gmail address.
Did you read the tutorial fully and read the part about using gmail addresses?

Since it is just a notification to you, the admin… have you considered saving data into a database then coding notification API to get pop up when on mew sumbission? Or have you considered coding a triggered email to you instead?
