How can i add a 'Now Playing' feature?

i have built a site for a radio station. i wanted to add a ‘now playing’ or ‘on air now’ feature, a text field that takes the dj name from the dataset depending on what time of day it is. so that visitors can see what DJ is live at any one time, without having to look at the timetable. thanks in advance.
