How do I prevent a new window from opening after installing the app?

I’m having trouble with
After a user completes the app install process, the postInstallationUrl (redirect callback) is invoked, but does so in a new window, instead of the current window:

What I’m trying to do
Have the redirect be invoked on the same window that we authorized the app install.

What I’ve tried so far
Testing the install from Wix Studio - this doesn’t reproduce the issue exactly, but it does open a new tab instead.
