Is there any way to add a R or R Markdown code snippet to my blog posts? I am creating a tutorial and need to include code snippets that are able to be copied by the readers.

As Tal already mentioned, the Wix Blog is still a Wix app and you are limited to what you can do with it through Wix Corvid
If you can’t find what you are looking for about adding R Support for snippets etc in the Wix Support pages for the Wix Blog already.

I have a quick and dirty fix as explained in this post
It does not follow good HTML practice (I don’t know if I can in this case) and the pasted codes can get ugly if you have a big chunk, but it is a good-enough fix for now. Hope it helps.
Well since I haven’t seen an appropriate solution. Use the HTML widget from the left side of your blog and paste into it the script generated in the GitHub Gists(embed),
for the colors simply add the right format to the Gist for instance “example.js” or “example.py” depending on the language that you want to highlight.
So you don’t need a “dirty solution”. While this is not Velo-related companies in the development business for sure needs a solution to share posts. This is a good reliable solution.
