How to automatically arrange items on a page for mobile view?

Hello,
On the previous Editor I used to be able to just check mobile view and there was a certain function that I just clicked on and rearranged the items so it was in a same order as on the desktop view. Since my Wix Editor is updated I don’t see that option and I got many items on my page in a wrong order that would take a very looooong time to rearange manually.
How do I get back that function or what should I be using instead?

Hey Attila,

I personally use repeaters when I need to have items that I might need to reorganize. And this can also be done within the mobile view.

Thanks @Randall_ORCHESTRADOR
I will do that next time. Unfortunateky, I was already working on this page for a while when Wix asked me to update the Editor. I have a very long documentation-like page where 90% of the page is under a single section and gets all rearranged when switching to mobile view. Previously, there was a single button that I clicked and the order was matching. Can’t understand why a perfectly good function had to be removed?

( This is the page I am working on now btw and the whole “The List” part is under a single section and the items change order under mobile view:

Hey @Attila_Gasparetz!

Thanks for sharing your feedback about the “Organise Mobile layout” button.

With the move to the Wix Editor having Sections, the button was removed with it now being a built-in part of the mobile experience.

The team are always working to improve the editing experience, and I’ll let them know your thoughts about this.

Have you noticed a difference in the way the mobile editing works? Do you feel things are better/worse on the mobile editing experience?

Thanks for getting back to me @noahlovell and it’s good to know!

I really miss that button because I haven’t really doing much editing for mobile view.
My sites are mostly viewed on desktops as the contant is useful in a certain industry.
I just liked to make sure that the items are in a same order on mobile view too which I am not sure how to do now.
Any tips on that?

@noahlovell
Regarding your question I don’t see that the “Organise Mobile layout” function would work as well as the built-in one. Not sure if it’s exactly the same.
My page ( that I shared previously ) is perhaps not as scrambled on mobile view than it used to be first but clicking on that button always worked and now there are chunks that are in a wrong order. It’s an alphabetical order of items so pretty easy to spot that things starting with “i” shouldn’t be at the bottom but at the middle of the page.
I don’t know how to rearrange that many items without that function now.
Any ideas pls?

Why were my messages here ignored?

Hey @Attila_Gasparetz!

There are a lot of topics created all the time and we encourage where possible for the community to help answer each others questions.

That being said, I’ll try and help.

The button previously used is no incorporated into the mobile algorithm and aims to organise elements.

My recommendation would be to group elements on desktop. For example, if they’re in the right order in desktop, I would group the “I”'s together, and then the “J”'s etc.

This should help keep those letters together.

As for organising the mobile, perhaps removing elements, from the page, organising a smaller amount and then adding them back would help?
