How to connect wix store to load products from wix database?

i have product data in wix database from which i want the wix store to load the products dynamically. How do I do that?

Hey Suparna,

Unfortunately, this feature is not yet available, but we’re aware of such a request! At the moment, you can either use Wix Stores default interface or show products in dynamic page, but without add to cart capability.

OK, how about this twist? I want a user to fill in a form which will populate the Wix database. Based on the numerical values they put in the form fields I want Wix to kick off a store order for the products. The user would then complete the purchase in a standard store format.
Is this level of database and store integration possible?

When will integration between Wix Code and Wix Stores be available? Can someone provide us an ETA? I have been waiting for this almost a year with noone from Wix support able to give me a clear answer regarding this matter!

I really need the import/export facility. I can’t manage over a 1000 products in your current store method.

Just wanted to add my vote to this. The current Wix store data management interface works great when you’re working with about 20 products. Any more than that, and it is prohibitively inefficient. I am forced to recommend my larger-store clients use a service besides Wix for their website design. :frowning:

Hello. Can Some one please help me with this. I have created a database on the Product Page. Is there any way i can see on which product page in specific was the form filled. so i can respond to the customer with the same product requirement. Or in anyway, can i connect the product id to my database. so that i can see, on which specific product page was the form filled.

Can anyone verify whether this shortcoming has been addressed yet? Wix simply won’t work for my online bookselling business if I can’t load my extensive product database into the Wix store… Thanks!

It honestly doesn’t make any sense to me why Wix does not have a feature to seamlessly integrate the Wix database to the Wix store… In my opinion its a breading ground for redundancy that creates the possibility of building an unreliable and less sophisticated e-commerce website. I sure do hope that the developers look into this as soon as possible.

is it really true, that 2 years after this request (to import a database into wix stores), wix still does not support this feature ? if so i cannot believe it really. its so important and without that feature its just useless for customers with bigger datasets…
