I sell to both Retail and Wholesale.
Currently my website store is just having retail prices.
I would like to add a custom field to the customer (a boolean flag Wholesale), so that I could say for example:
If customerType === Wholesale, then display price2
else display price1
price1 been retail price and price2 been wholesale prices
Thanks @givemeawhisky
However I see a HUGE issues with this approach, the permission level is only at the Parent page but if you have the direct link for a specific product, you can access the special price without having the intended permission.
Not really, you set one up with page access for Retail role only and you set the other one up for Wholesalers role only.
So you check the users role when they login into the certain area and if they don’t have the correct role permission, then they can’t access those pages.
Hey @givemeawhisky
I have same query. As per this link: https://support.wix.com/en/article/creating-restricted-wix-stores-pages
I just can create separate page & duplicate products to that separate page to display wholesale products ?
I can’t change prices according to user level for same page without duplicate products or page ?
yeah this is really dumb with this tool
Hi Ankush and Carlos
Currently, Wix Stores doesn’t support offering different prices depending on the current user role, you can always build your own product page from scratch if you want.
You may want to check out Wix Marketplace , it’s a place where you can find qualified developers to hire, or you can contact me if you want.
