When a user purchases a pricing plan there is an optional checkout form to collect additional information. After submission, the user’s Additional Info form data can be viewed in your Dashboard/Subscriptions, but it seems to be a huge oversight that Wix does not put this data into a CMS Collection.
In their support example, you can ask a user their t-shirt size but since there is no database record of their response you can’t set your site or code to utilize their answer (except by manually viewing the form in Dashboard).
I’ve seen quite a few posts of people asking about this issue, but no replies.
If there is no collection for the Pricing Plan “Additional Info” has anyone managed to access it with code?
Overall, gotta say the Wix Pricing Plans app seems deeply flawed and inflexible. Basic design elements including checkout cannot be customized in Editor and it doesn’t appear to work with manual payments. Manual Payments not working with Pricing Plans
Indeed. What is the point of it if you cannot collect or sort based on your form data! Man, so many feautres in wix you start off by going wow how cool i can do xyz only to realise the feature is developed just enough to beable to market it!
It feels incomplete when such valuable data isn’t accessible in the CMS. Hopefully, Wix addresses this issue soon, as it would make the feature much more functional for real-world use cases.
