how to hide a page in Wix Studio from both the menu and search engines:

Hiding from Menu:

  1. Access the Editor: Open your Wix Studio project and navigate to the Editor view.
  2. Manage Menus: In the left-side panel, locate the “Menus” section and click on the menu you want to modify.
  3. Edit Menu Items: Click “Manage Menu” to open the menu editing interface.
  4. Hide the Page: Hover over the page you want to hide and click the three-dot icon (More Actions). Select “Remove From Menu” from the dropdown menu.

Hiding from Google Search:

  1. Access Page Settings: In the left-side panel, click on “Pages.”
  2. Select the Page: Find the page you want to prevent from indexing and click on it.
  3. SEO Settings: Click the three-dot icon (More Actions) next to the page and choose “SEO Basics.”
  4. Prevent Indexing: Locate the “Let search engines index this page” toggle and switch it to the “Off” position.

Hi, I have followed your steps above but unfortunately the option to hide a page or remove from menu isn’t there. Has it been moved elsewhere or has it been completely removed?

When you say “hide the page,” do you mean setting the site to a “private state” so that no one can access it?

Thanks for responding. I mean “removing” the page from the menu selection but still remains accessible through other links in the website.

Thank you. I have read the article however that doesn’t work either. The ‘remove from menu’ option doesn’t appear on some pages. I could be mistaken but I’m assuming my menu has to have a minimum of 6 pages listed on it. If I add a 7th page to the menu, the option to remove that page is then available only on that extra page, all the other 6 pages prior to that one don’t have the remove option. I’ve attached images to hopefully show what I mean. Image 1 doesn’t have the option to remove the page but the 2nd image has the option. (sorry it seems I can only share 1 media image)
I installed a horizontal menu hoping I would get a different outcome but the results are the same.

in the image you shared, is it showing that when a seventh page is added to the site, the “Delete” option is displayed only on that page?
