Ability to hide individual Menu items

Sometimes, we do not want to show some pages on the Main Menu. We have this feature on the classic Editor. Will be a great help if Editor X has it too.

Hi @vinaysaryu

I am Sebi and I am a Product Manager for Editor X.

Editor X brings a whole new feature for menus. You can now set custom menus throughout your site.

You can only hide pages from the menu by creating a custom menu.
Click on Menu component > Manage Menu > Main Menu > Add & Edit Menus

After you create a menu, you can add and remove the pages freely.

Please let us know if this was helpful.
Thanks,

I am having the same issue; in the original wix editor, one is able to hide certain pages from the menu if they choose. I’m hoping to do the same as vinay described, but unable too. would be great if you could add this feature! thanks!

@aliciachurilla The way Sebi described above is much more customizable than using menus on the ‘old’ editor. This video will help if you haven’t already seen it - https://www.wix.com/editorx/academy/custom-menus

Suppose you add a new menu and work on it got dissatisfied. Finally you decide to delet it and there’s no going back. You cannot delete those menus! The logic is, if you can add a menu, you should also havre the option to delete it.

The simple answer would have been to give the user the choice of both methods, at least for the time being until more upto date menu templates are rolled out that suit the style of editor X.

I am having trouble with hiding a few pages in the menu section. I was able to manage the pages by hiding and showing. When publish, all pages are showing. It doesn’t hide the pages that I don’t want showing in the menu section. Bug?
